The countywide property reassessment in Clarion County is nearing completion, with over 20,000 assessments on improved residential parcels finished.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, the process is in Phase 4, valuation review, until March, followed by informal hearings in April and May. Preliminary value notices will be sent in April, allowing the public to have an informal review. The new assessments for 2025 will be mailed by July 1.
Despite the undervaluation of properties due to 1975 assessments, taxes won’t increase in the first year according to state law.
