Yesterday the Punxsutawney Fire Department responded to a couple of calls within 10 minutes of each other.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports the first one at 6:40 p.m. when all three fire companies were called to Grace Place along North Gilpin St., for an activated fire alarm where firefighters reset it. The Spirit says they were dispatched at 6:50 p.m. to a one-vehicle accident that happened along Cloe Rossiter Road, Bell Township, where a Ford pickup truck went off of the road into a ditch.
There were no injuries, and the truck was pulled from the ditch.
