Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. has released the identities of the victims involved in a fatal fire over the weekend in East Wheatfield Township.
The blaze happened around 4:40 Saturday morning at a home along Fox Road in Armagh. Fire crews later found 75-year-old Janet Bloom and 81-year-old Merle Robinson dead inside the home. Overman ruled their deaths were accidental and the cause was “inhalation of combustible products.”
He adds toxicology tests were ordered along with autopsies. State police fire marshals investigated the fire but have not yet determined what caused it.
