A 57-year-old Grampian man is accused of taking money for a home renovation job but failing to do the work.
The alleged theft by deception, amounting to $500.00, was reported to PSP Clearfield on January 18. After a preliminary arraignment, Daniel J. Polites is in Clearfield County Jail unable to post $5,000.00 bail. The preliminary hearing is set for January 30.
