On January 17, George Charlan and Derek Hillebrand were sentenced for violating federal narcotics and money laundering laws.
Charlan received 15 years in prison, while Hillebrand was sentenced to 18 years. They were key members of a cross-country narcotics distribution conspiracy, involved in trafficking large quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana. The investigation, spanning Jefferson, Clearfield, and Allegheny counties, was successfully prosecuted and multiple law enforcement agencies collaborated in the case.
