Two people were taken to the hospital yesterday morning after their vehicle went off the road and into a small creek in White Township.
Our sister station WCCS’s Josh Widdowson reports the accident occurred at 11:40 AM at the intersection of Route 286 and Sexton Road. A Chevy Impala going East on 286 slid into the opposite lane, went through the guardrail near the culvert and flipped into the creek.
Two people were in the car at the time and they were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. One person was responsive according to police. Indiana and Homer City fire departments assisted on-scene and Route 286 was closed in both directions for less than an hour as crews rescued the victims.
