The Young Township supervisors accepted the resignation of Supervisor Sam Adams…according to the Punxsutawney Spirit, the township will advertise that it is seeking residents who would like to become a supervisor to replace Adams to stop by the Young Township office with a letter of interest.
The Spirit adds the supervisors also passed a motion to sign a contract to move the playground project forward with a new contractor at a cost savings of over $51K. The work is expected to begin in March.
