Former DuBois city manager, John “Herm” Suplizio, accused of embezzling over $600,000, has
been fired by the City Council.
WJAC News reports New council members, Mayor Pat Reasinger, Councilwoman Jennifer Jackson, and Councilman Elliot Gefland, voted in favor of
his termination. Suplizio has been in a legal battle since March 2023 and now faces new federal
charges.
The reports adds, the council accepted the resignation of DuBois City Solicitor Toni
Cherry.
