The Punxsutawney Borough Council had a special meeting to discuss the 2024 budget.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, after a personnel executive session that included a tax increase, the council voted to display the budget.
The Spirit adds, the meeting mainly revolved around funding for the Punxsutawney Fire Department, including paying their bills and potentially purchasing an additional fire truck in the coming years.
