The remaining defendant in the October 2016 beating deaths of a Cherryhill Township couple avoided a jury trial yesterday by entering two guilty pleas to third degree murder in Indiana County Court.
Jury selection was to begin for 25-year-old Nathanial Price, but rather than face a trial that could potentially lead to a conviction for first degree or second degree murder, Price agreed to plead guilty to third degree murder, plus two counts.
Price was sentenced to a total of 65 to 130 years in state prison. He could be eligible for parole in the future.
