The Punxsutawney Area School Board recently discussed the low PSSA scores and expressed the need for continued discussion and solutions.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports, Chad Horner, a new board member, emphasized the importance of involving the administration and leaders from each building in ongoing discussions. Matt Kengersky, the board president, agreed to set up a meeting and address the issue on the November agenda.
The Spirit adds, the goal is to identify problems and find solutions to improve the scores and not repeat the lack of action in the future.
