An inmate at the Clarion County Jail was charged for stabbing a corrections officer with a homemade shiv.
According to ExploreClarion.com, the incident occurred on September 2, when David T. Robinson was being held in a cell and refused to comply with the officers, leading to a confrontation where he reportedly stabbed an officer just below the sternum. The officer sustained an injury but was able to retreat and receive medical attention.
Robinson was charged and is currently held in the Clarion County Jail with a $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 17.
