The DuBois City Council recently held its first meeting since former City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio faced additional charges.
WTAJ News reports, tensions arose during the public comment section between resident Jennifer Jackson and City Solicitor Toni Cherry. According to the published report, Cherry was implicated for allegedly hiding money from investigators. DuBois residents, including Jackson, demand transparency and accountability from the council.
The council entered an executive session following the meeting, and Cherry was unavailable for further comment.
