The Reynoldsville Borough Council met Tuesday night in regular session.
The council accepted the resignation of John Chesnalavich, who faces charges in connection with an August 5 invasion of privacy incident. Letters of interest from those who would like to serve on council will be accepted at the borough office until the end of business hours on Tuesday, October 3. Plans are to appoint a new council member at the October meeting.
The council also announced that Borough Solicitor Joe Ryan will be leaving that position at the end of the year. Ryan has been appointed to the Jefferson County Solicitor position as of October 1.
