Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi announced on Thursday that a Clearfield County man was charged with sex crimes in connection with incidents that happened 20 years ago.
63-year-old Manas J. Lee of Westover was charged with six felony counts of rape, six felony counts of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, and a separate count of sexual intercourse with an animal. State police from the Punxsutawney barracks say they were informed by an unnamed person that Lee allegedly sexually assaulted a minor approximately 20 years ago. Additionally, several others accused Lee of sexually assaulting them and a horse.
Lee was taken to Indiana County Jail and was unable to post $500,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 25th at 1 p.m.
