State police say a Plumville man was taken into custody early Friday morning after he entered a home and began assaulting the owner.
33-year-old Michael Sanders is accused of going into the home along McMillen Road in South Mahoning Township at about 1 AM. There he encountered a 31-year-old man from Home and a 31-year-old woman from Beyer. After the confrontation he fled and police say he was later located at 142 Main Street in Plumville, where a foot pursuit ensued. He was captured and charged with burglary, simple assault, harassment, resisting arrest and fleeing and eluding. Sanders was then taken to the county jail.
