In preparation for the upcoming school year, there will be new traffic patterns implemented on North Jefferson Street near the Punxsutawney Christian School and the Punxsutawney Area Community Center.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, Mayor Rich Alexander proposed they consult with Police Chief Matt Conrad for his expertise on handling the traffic.
The Spirit added Rob McCoy, the director of PACC, expressed the intention to gather more information and arrange a meeting with Conrad while ensuring that they do not turn people away
