Starting today, electricity prices will undergo their quarterly adjustment in Pennsylvania, and for Penelec customers, that means an increase of 1.5 percent.
For those who use West Penn Power, the rate will go up 20.7 percent.
Rates will also increase for Citizens’ Electric, Duquesne Light, Met-Ed, PECO, and Penn Power. They will decrease for customers of PPL, UGI, and Wellsboro Electric.
