State police are investigating a case of fraud in the northern part of Indiana County.
Troopers say the incident reportedly happened on March 22nd at 6:03 PM. The victim, a 47-year-old woman from Rossiter, was purchasing items off a Facebook account, but discovered that the account was hacked after sending $50 to the scammer. The purchased items were never sent.
The investigation is continuing.
