The Punxsutawney Area Chamber of Commerce Civic Chat discussed grants, trout stocking in Mahoning Creek and tourists.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, Rep. Brian Smith talked about how grants are hard to get, but they have been doing better by going to different entities. Jim Bianco brought up his struggles with the Fish and Boat Commission’s attention to have trout stocking in Mahoning Creek, the Spirit adds Bianco also believes tourism can thrive in the area by focusing on the great outdoors, hunting and fishing.
