At its Tuesday meeting the Punxsutawney Area School Board heard a question raised about why they have a hard time keeping an autistic support teacher.
Today’s Punxsutawney Spirit reports, there have been 14 teachers since the position began and they are looking into why they’re having trouble retaining one.
The Punxsy Spirit also reports following an executive session to discuss the position of interim assistant principal, they voted 7-1 to hire Robert Rocco to serve as interim assistant high school principal at a rate of $400 per day beginning on Nov. 16.
