Brookville will expand its study of parking in residential areas across the borough after residents at Tuesday’s council meeting raised new concerns and objected to some early recommendations of the public safety committee.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, residents on Marlin and Craig streets have raised several concerns regarding parking tickets, lack of spaces, and how the lack of spaces could effect potential home-buyers’ decisions.
In response to the concerns, council agreed to an ongoing study, noted police will not enforce the parking ordinance on the effected streets, and referred the matter back to the public safety committee for a larger-scale investigation.
