A 48-year-old Irvona woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred February 24th in Mahaffey Borough of Clearfield County.
State Police in Punxsutawney say the crash happened at the intersection of State Route 36 and Market Street when Eliz Nestlerode-Frailey turned left onto State Route 36 and struck 40-year-old Calogero Gambino of Punxsutawney just after he made a right turn onto Market Street.
Nestlerode-Frailey was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for reported neck and leg injuries. Calogero was uninjured.
Nestlerode-Frailey’s vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Mahaffey Fire Department and Mahaffey Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.

A 45-year-old Indiana woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred February 24th in North Mahoning Township of Indiana County.
Troopers say the crash occurred on along Juneau Road when Michelle Rivera Vicioso lost control of the vehicle while turning. Police say the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Rivera Vicioso was transported to Punxsutawney Area Hospital by Jefferson County EMS for reported head and shoulder injuries. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Rossiter Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Two people of Penn Run were jailed following a traffic stop that led to a drug investigation in Indiana County on Monday.
State Police in Indiana say, 51-year-old Eldon A. Sajko and 31-year-old Amy L. Cramer, both of Penn Run were arrested Monday following traffic stop in East Wheatfield Township and subsequent search of their residence in Pine Township of Indiana County. Troopers say they stopped a pick-up truck, driven by Sajko for equipment violations. A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up suspected meth, pills, cocaine and other paraphernalia. Sajko was then taken into custody.
Police were then notified of more narcotics at the home Sajko shared with Cramer. A search of the home reportedly turned up three rifles, more meth, and about $10,000 in cash as well as other contraband. Cramer was then also taken into custody. Both were lodged in Indiana County Jail in lieu of cash bail.
Preliminary hearings are set for March 15th.
