The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the origin and cause of a fire that destroyed a $100,000 single-story home on May 1st in Brady Township of Clearfield County.
Authorities believe the fire may have originated in the area of a rear entrance door. A 23 year-old woman and a 55 year-old man from DuBois were not home at the time. One person suffered a minor injury while trying to rescue pets; however, several of them died. The home is a complete loss.
