Punxsutawney Borough Manager Toby Santik talks about the progress made with the Army Corps of engineers for improvements to Punxsutawney including: The sewer system along Indiana Street, the Mahoning river Levee Project. My Santik also updated the public on the improvements made to the George C. Brown Community Pool (Adult and Children’s Pool).
Santik recapped the first ever Festival in the Park in Punxsutawney. It was organized by the Punxsutawney Borough Council to much success. Included in the festival was a dunking tank (person volunteers to potentially be dropped into a tank of water for the cost of a dollar per softball) to raise money for the first ever K-9 Unit in the Borough of Punxsutawney.
