The IRS tax filing and payment deadline is less than a week away, Wednesday July 15th.
According to the IRS website, there are several free filing services available online and in some cases it can be done in less than 15 minutes. They continue to process returns and issue refunds, but expect delays due to limited staffing.
Many businesses that have been severely impacted by COVID-19 will qualify for new employer tax credits.
