The Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a report of identity theft in Union Township of Jefferson County.
On Friday, Pennsylvania State Police went to a residence along Roseville Sigel Road where a 51-year old man of Brookville man reported it was on the first of last month that someone applied for a $19,000 loan using his social security number.
The investigation is ongoing.
