The unofficial election results from the Primary election yesterday: The 25th District Senate map includes parts of Clearfield County and seven other complete counties. Adding the unofficial returns Republican candidate Cris Dush will likely face the unopposed Democratic candidate Margie Brown for the state Senate in the 25th District this November 3rd.
The 66th district is a portion of Indiana County with all of Jefferson County and combining results from both counties unofficial returns, Punxsutawney businessman Brian Smith beat current Jefferson County Commissioner John Matson, Jr. There are no Democrats on the ballot for the seat; therefore, he will likely face write-ins for the General election.
All election results are unofficial until they are certified by their respective counties.
