There was a two-vehicle accident in Rose Township of Jefferson County sending both drivers to the hospital.
It on Tuesday morning just before 6, on Route 28 near Snyder Road, when according to the police, 48 year-old Mary Timko of DuBois was traveling South on the wet road way and lost control while going around a curve. It’s reported Timko crossed into the northbound lane colliding head-on with a vehicle driven by 42 year-old Tonya Cable of Summerville.
Timko was severely injured, Cable had minor injuries, both were transported and treated at Penn Highlands Brookville.
The Summerville FVD and the Jefferson County EMS assisted the Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney at the crash site.
