The number of people confirmed with COVID 19 is now 18,228 in the Commonwealth with 338 deaths due to complications.
According to Health.Pa.Gov, all the stats remain the same as yesterday for our area: Jefferson County has one confirmed case. Other counties: Elk has two cases; while, Clearfield still has 7 people who tested positive, Indiana 21 people have been confirmed through testing, and Clarion 8 people have tested positive. COVID-19 is a new virus that causes respiratory illness in people and is extremely contagious. Symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, and diarrhea.
