A Hillsdale man will be charged with driving under the influence after refusing a blood draw in the aftermath of a crash last Wednesday afternoon in Green Township.
Pennsylvania State Police say 34-year-old Carl Overman’s pickup was disabled after it hit two trees alongside Hill Road. Overman left on foot and Commodore firefighters found him walking along Wandin Road, about a mile from the scene of the crash.
Police took Overman into custody on suspicion of DUI and after refusing a blood draw at IRMC, he was admitted to the hospital until medically cleared. The charges will be filed before District Judge Chris Welch.
