A man from Delancey in Young Township was arrested and taken to the Jefferson County Jail on charges of Endangering the Welfare of children and Unlawful Restraint.
Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney received a report of a child falling out of a window at a residence along Adrian Road on Sunday around 5 pm. Troopers observed a 3 year old girl outside the house with suspected minor injuries. Officers found a 7 year old girl and a 1 year old boy inside the residence with their father, 31 year old Dustin Gaul, who is accused of locking the girls in the room while he was taking a nap.
Jefferson County EMS transported the 3 year old to the Punxsutawney Area Hospital for an evaluation.
