Type A and B Flu cases across the Commonwealth are easing up in some areas.
In Jefferson County, there have been 542 flu cases, with an increase of 56 in the last week. Clearfield County is at 910 for the season, an increase of 127 in the last week. Indiana County had 67 new lab-confirmed flu cases last week for a total of 720 confirmed flu cases.
The State Health Department reports the pace is slowing and flu season may finally have reached its peak.
Eight more people died from flu-related illness in Pennsylvania last week, bringing the season-long total to 74.
