State police report the theft of a gun from a home in Canoe Township, in northern Indiana County.
The $400 black Ruger 9-millimeter handgun was allegedly stolen sometime in the last four months from the home of a 60-year-old woman who lives at First Street and Sunset Street in Rossiter.
Pennsylvania State Police from the Punxsutawney barracks are investigating.

The Juvenile who attempted to elude Pennsylvania State Police for more than 11 miles on Route 66 faces several charges including 59 summary traffic violation.
The high speed chase happened last Monday evening around 5:30 in Limestone Township of Clarion County, when Troopers tried to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The 16 year old driver, who’s name is not in the recently released police report because he’s a juvenile, drove off at a high rate until a tire deflation devise ended the 11-mile pursuit.
The juvenile was taken into custody and also charged with fleeing police and eight counts of recklessly endangering another person.
