
A former resident of Cleveland, Ohio, was sentenced on charges of violating federal robbery and firearms laws in Jefferson and Clarion Counties.
United Stated District Court Judge Schwab sentenced 21 year old Rayshawn Patterson to 87 months in prison. Patterson plead guilty to incidents in December of 2017, where he and an accomplice unsuccessfully attempted to burglarize a gun store in Clarion County and robbed a gas station, as well as burglarizing a sports store in Brookville, where they stole approximately 16 firearms, including 14 handguns and two assault rifles.
His co-defendant, Reginald Patterson, was convicted after a jury trial in October of last year and is pending sentencing.
