A man from Punxsutawney was arrested yesterday morning for driving under the influence in Jefferson County.
Police say the 39 year old was stopped for a summary traffic violation on Jenks and Beyer Avenue around 3 am. Charges will be filled at the District Court and his name was not released.

A 25 year old woman from Westover was a arrested on Saturday for harassment in Burnside Township of Clearfield County.
Authorities responded to a domestic incident around 10 pm at a residence on Cabin Road and Ridge Road and determined 28 year old Derick Kurtz had been forcibly pulled by his shirt and jacket collar down stairs and outside his residence by his wife Elizabeth Grimes.
The summary non-traffic citation was filed through the District Court.

A woman from Windber was arrested for shoplifting yesterday afternoon at a major retailer along Route 119 in Young Township of Jefferson County.
Around 4:45 Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney were dispatched to the store where 45 year old Nyree Simmons allegedly admitted she attempted to take almost $100 worth of items without paying. Simmons was not allowed to be on the property due to prior incidents at different locations.
She was taken into custody and charges of retail theft and criminal trespass will be filed through the Magisterial District Judge.
