On Monday afternoon around 3, a woman from Brookville was arrested for allegedly shoplifting from a business in Monroe Township.
The Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion say 58 year old Rita Hippchen was at a major retailer on Perkins Road and was stopped by employees who claim she attempted to take over $100 in merchandise without paying.
The accused was taken into custody without incident as the investigations continues.
