
Charges were filed against a 22 year old woman in Jefferson County for an incident that happened last month.
The Brookville Borough Police Department stopped a vehicle with a burned out head light on December 22 on 6th Street and found the driver had multiple open containers of alcohol and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
After further investigation charges were filed through Magistrate Bayzlaks’s Office.

Authorities are investigating a report of an unwanted explicit photo in Rose Township of Jefferson County,
Last Friday afternoon around 3:30, Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney received a report from a 67 year old woman from Corsica who said she saw the explicit pic on Facebook from her daughters ex- boyfriend, a 34 year old man.
That investigation continues.

Clymer Borough Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Commodore man in a methamphetamine investigation that originated with a traffic stop last August.
Police stopped 48-year-old Noah Acosta near the 600 block of Franklin Street on the night of August 5th, and a search of his vehicle yielded three bags of a crystalline substance, a large bag of marijuana, $1,310 in cash, a cell phone, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
All of the evidence was seized and crime lab results showed the crystalline substance was 20 grams of meth. That led to the arrest warrant, and police ask anyone who may know of Acosta’s whereabouts to contact them at 724-254-0714

Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois are looking for information into a hit and run that happened in Winslow Township of Jefferson County.
Over the weekend, police say someone driving a Chevy Cobalt was traveling east on Reynoldsville Cemetery Road and failed to negotiate the curve near an unnamed Street and traveled off the roadway hitting multiple headstones. The suspect fled the scene south on State Route 310.
Authorities are looking for the driver of the metallic blue Chevy Cobalt with damage to the front end. If you have info, call 814 371 4652.

Clymer Borough Police have issued an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Ian Cordale Buterbaugh of Indiana, who is the suspect in a burglary on January 20th at a building on Willow Avenue.
Police say Buterbaugh broke into the building and stole several items, which he then offered for sale. They don’t say what the items were.
Buterbaugh is charged with five felony conspiracy offenses, for burglary, plus several other charges. Anyone who knows of Buterbaugh’s whereabouts is asked to call Clymer Police at 254-0714.

One person reportedly suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash last night at the intersection of Penn and Adams streets in Clymer.
It happened at 11:30 PM and a 31-year-old Clymer man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Clymer firefighters assisted borough police at the scene of the collision.
Police do not identify anyone involved in the accident.
