On Friday a man from DuBois was taken into custody for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order in Jefferson County.
Police say the incident occurred around 8:30 in the morning on January 24th on Main Street in Brockway when 28 year old Derek Cameron, who is accused of violating the terms of the PFA for a 25 year old woman of Brockway. He was also charged with Simple Assault and Harassment.
The investigation is on-going.
