State Rep Cris Dush announced District 66 volunteer fire and ambulance companies awarded funding.
The money is coming from a grant program administered by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the State Fire Commissioner. In Punxsutawney: Central will get $12,467, Elk Run $11,509 and Lindsey Fire Company $13,152. Jefferson County EMS will receive $9,192 and Big Run VFD will get $12,467. In Indiana County Commodore VFD is granted $12,057 and Rossiter VFD looking at $11,646.
