The Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois are investigating a report of theft by deception in Union Township of Clearfield County.
On Monday Pennsylvania State Police received the case from the Clearfield DA’s office where 33 year old Scott Orcutt of Rockton paid over $5,000 to 51 year old Jeffery Larson of Brockport to do a remodeling job on his garage in May of last year.
Orcutt said he never received any work to his garage or compensation.
