This past Friday a woman from Clearfield was arrested for DUI in Union Township of Clearfield County.
Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois say around 10 in the morning on January 9th the 49 year old was pulled over on the Rockton Mountain Highway and was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for a blood draw for suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana after a small amount of pot was found and seized from her during the traffic stop.
Her name was not in the report and the investigation is listed as on-going.

There was a single vehicle accident in Winslow Township of Jefferson County last week.
On Thursday around 8 pm state police say 27 year old Janelle Fredrick of DuBois was traveling north on Route 310 and lost control of her SUV while going down a hill just south of Wishaw Road. Fredrick reportedly drove into a bank and hit a tree head on causing disabling damage; however she was not injured.

The Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information into a report of criminal mischief that was reported last month in Paint Township of Clarion County.
Authorities say the incident happened between December 27th and the 28th on Pine Terrace Road when someone smashed the victims light post and fled in an unknown direction.

This past Saturday the Brookville Borough Police arrested an 18 year old man from Brookville for drug possession in Jefferson County.
Around 10:30 pm officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Main and Valley streets for having an expired registration plate and tinted windows. While speaking with the unidentified driver they noticed the smell of burn marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Authorities say they found a small amount of pot and several items used to smoke in his possession and he was charged.

Few details have been released about a report of someone failing to comply with Megan’s Law in Elk Township of Clarion County.
Sometime between December 2nd and the 11th a person with registration requirements along route 208 allegedly failed to abide by the standards of the law.
The person’s name was not in the report and the investigation is listed as on-going.
