An uninhabited house was destroyed by fire on Friday in Perry Township.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the building was on Monroe Street in Valier. The Perry Township Fire Chief said the vacant house was fully engulfed by fire when they arrived and no one was injured.
The published report says the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal will investigate the scene and they were assisted by Lindsey, Oliver, McCalmont and Ringgold VFD’s as well as Jefferson County EMS.
