There was a standoff in Reynoldsville yesterday morning in Jefferson County.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois responded to the incident on Brown Road where 44 year old Steven Shaffer allegedly fired four rounds from a Smith and Wesson AR-15 inside the residence following a verbal altercation, where he is accused of threatening the victims.
The published reports says he was disarmed by the victims and fled; however, he surrendered following the activation of a Special Emergency Response Team.
Shaffer was charged and jailed.
