Last Friday around two in the morning, a deer was the cause of another accident.
This one happened in Elk Township of Clarion County when 37 year old Kristopher Bloom of Seneca was going south on SR 208 when a deer entered the roadway. Attempting to miss the deer, Bloom swerved to miss it; however, he drove into a ditch and continued until he hit a mailbox, before coming to a disabling stop.
Police say Bloom failed to leave insurance and contact information with the property owner and failed to contact police after the crash. He was cited accordingly.
