The smell of marijuana led to the arrest of a driver from Michigan in Jefferson County.
The Brookville Borough Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a faulty license plate light. While talking with 22 year old driver Joseph Sroka, the officer noticed strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The passenger and owner of the car said there was a marijuana pipe in the car, and after a search authorities found a sandwich bag full of marijuana. A grinder and two pipes were also found.
The man was charged with a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
