Charges have been filed against a woman from Reynoldsville for making false reports to police.
Around 6 pm on November 2, Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois responded to a report of a mental health incident on Cricket Road in Winslow Township of Jefferson County. Officers say there was no mental health emergency and allege 47 year old Brenda Saunders was under the influence of illicit drugs, including meth and heroin.
She was taken into custody and transported to Penn Highlands for an assessment. Charges have been filed through the Magisterial District Judge.
