The Pennsylvania State Police released few details about a crash on Saturday evening in Rose Township of Jefferson County, where the drivers were transported to Pittsburgh by Life Flight.
Authorities say the two-vehicle crash occurred just before 8 pm on State Route 28 at the intersection of Snyder Road, southwest of Brookville Borough, when a driver traveling south on 28 lost control of the vehicle and collided head on with another one heading north.
Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating the crash where the drivers were flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment. Pine Creek Fire department and Jefferson County EMS assisted at the crash site. Both vehicles were towed. No other information was in the police report.
