Jefferson County Jail has a new warden.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the Jefferson County Jail Inspection/Intermediate Punishment Board announced yesterday that Dustin Myers, who was the interim warden, now has the position.
The published report says board members accepted the resignation of the former warden, Tom Elbel, months ago and Myers, who served as Deputy for three years, has been elevated the head position.
