It appears the arson cases against two men will be going to trial after preliminary hearings yesterday.
23-year-old Nicholas Leone of Creekside and 19-year-old Dylan Dalessio of Plumville are each facing 32 arson-related charges for three arson fires in northern Indiana County. They’re accused of setting three fires between late last year and earlier this year.
District Judge Susanne Steffee ordered the cases against Dalessio held for common pleas court, while Leone waived his charges to court.
One other note from yesterday’s proceedings: By agreement with the district attorney, the judge reduced Leone’s bond in the January fire from $250,000 to $50,000. Both defendants are still in the Indiana County Jail, according to their criminal docket sheets.
